Beaux Arts has established a reputation for showcasing well-chosen Modern British and inventive, contemporary artists and sculptors.
The gallery’s focus is evenly split between fostering talent among the current generation of emerging artists – chosen for their original practice as much as the aesthetic qualities of their work – and exhibiting the work of established artists such as John Bellany, Lynn Chadwick, Patrick Heron, Roger Hilton, Peter Lanyon, and John Piper.
Reg and Patricia Singh founded Beaux Arts Bath in 1979 after launching their first gallery in St Ives in 1971. Some of these early artists’ work now makes up most of the gallery’s Modern British art collection.
