The fashion pack were out in force in Mayfair earlier this month for the launch of luxury designer outlet McArthurGlen’s first-ever Fashion Month. McArthurGlen is one of the leading designer outlets in Europe, offering top luxury brands such as Armani, Ralph Lauren, Prada, Gucci and Valentino at discounted prices.
The glitzy event saw the likes of Amber Le Bon, Laura Bailey and Jaime Winstone dining on chicken foie gras terrine and sipping Veuve Cliquot champagne as they waltzed around the rooms of Morton’s on Berkeley Square. Highlights included an impromptu performance by Delilah, who sang her hit single 50 Shades, and hip DJ duo Benjamin Bridgewater and Dan Lywood, who were spinning their magic on the decks for the elite guests.
One of the most exclusive private clubs in London, Morton’s is a member’s only club that has been at the centre of Mayfair’s social life for the past 35 years. The Grade II listed building with its elegant black and white décor hark back to Mayfair’s fashionable past as a residence for old London nobility—the Chancellor of the Exchequer and the Bentley brothers have both lived in the prestigious building.
Mayfair boasts a number of high profile members’ clubs. In May this year, the Gallery Private Members’ Club opened on Conduit Street to wide acclaim, serving gourmet food from Claridge’s chef Brian Fantoni beneath its chandeliers, whilst Mayfair’s elite often dances the night away on Cromwell Road in The Dorsia’s nightclub, hidden in the basement of a Georgian townhouse. In these establishments, you can enjoy an entire evening of cocktails and music and rub shoulders with the crème of local society. Why not pay a visit to Mayfair and join the party?
