Buckingham dry cleaners opened its doors for the first time on valentine’s day in 1984. for more than 30 years founders, Stella & Alan Buckland, have provided first-class laundry and cleaning services to Mayfair and beyond.
Early on, Stella & Alan believed that a first-class service should also be about convenience and so for almost as many years as we’ve been open, Buckingham Dry Cleaners have provided a free collection and delivery service within the London area including Mayfair, Belgravia, Fitzrovia, Kensington, Knightsbridge, Chelsea, Fulham, Hampstead, St John’s Wood, Islington and Maida Vale.
Buckingham Dry Cleaners is a family run business in a truly old-fashioned manner with both of Stella & Alan’s children, James and Caroline involved in the daily running of the business. Even grandchildren are drafted in during busy holiday periods! However, that is the only old-fashioned aspect of the business. Following a recent refurbishment, we run a state-of-the-art cleaning business from our Mayfair premises with the most up-to-date machinery and adopting the latest techniques.
We provide expert care and attention to the most delicate of fabrics particularly silk and beading. By using the gentlest of solvents we ensure the least impact on the environment whilst maintaining the high standards expected from top dry cleaners.
