Pixie Geldof brings music to Mayfair

Pixie Geldof is best known as the daughter of legendary rocker Bob Geldof and his late wife Paula Yates. She has previously worked as a model, but now it appears that the 22 year old is determined to follow in her father’s footsteps. To carve a name for herself in the music industry, as a member of indie band Violet.

Intimate gig at private member’s club.

Pixie, the front woman of the group, recently took to the stage in an intimate gig at private member’s club Morton’s. Located on the prestigious Berkeley Square in the heart of Mayfair. The crowd consisted of famous faces and close friends and family. Including Pixie’s fashion designer friend Henry Holland, musician boyfriend George Barnet, her father Bob. Pixie, who was dressed in a simple black maxi dress and Miu Miu shoes. Was said to have wowed the crowds, and later tweeted “Great gig tonight! Thanks everyone that came!”

Asked about her musical endeavours

When asked about her musical endeavours in an interview earlier this year. Pixie explained, “Music is what I’ve always done. Why does anyone else make music. It’s fun, and silly, but at the same time it’s this thing that I put absolutely every single part of me into. And of course, one of us was going to be a musician,” she added, referencing her musical background.

We’re sure Pixie will have plenty of musical success and hopes that she continues to bring her band to Mayfair for more gigs.
