Temperley London to open in Mayfair

High end design house Temperley London has announced that it will be taking up residence in a six storey building in Mayfair this November. The chosen Georgian property is on Bruton Street. Home to other renowned designers such as Matthew Williamson, Stella McCartney and Diane von Furstenberg. It will host a two-floor flagship store, as well as the brand’s head office. Where the press, wholesale, financial and e-commerce teams will be located.

Our plans and the future.

Head of the brand Alice Temperley spoke positively of the move, saying. “It just felt like the right time to enter a new phase of expansion. The recession slowed us down a little, but we’re much more solid about our plans and the future. It’s something I’ve wanted to do for a long time and it was important to me to be more central. To be able to show the world what we’ve been up to.”

Passion for the Mayfair district.

She also expressed her passion for the Mayfair district, stating, “I love shopping in that area. I love the pub there and the way that Bruton Street connects to Conduit Street and then Bond Street. It’s a great positioning for us”.

Mayfair’s exclusive fashion quarter.

Temperley is said to be creating a lot of the interior from scratch. Working with friends on hand-painting and aiming for a “French salon feel with a decorative twist”. Fans of the label have a few months to wait before they can see the vision realised. The store is sure to make a unique and attractive addition to Mayfair’s exclusive fashion quarter.
